Personality:
Saka Saka is a guy is fond of using pun and riddles in his speech which often make him not able to understand. He is belives that no one is perfect and is a sucker for a good peice of gossip.Appearance:
To say the least, SakeSaka is an intensely charismatic individual. He has no problem talking to anyone he meets- friend or foe- and will do so endlessly, whether they want him to or not. Sake enjoys having company, and will seek it out whenever possible, looking for someone to have a nice chat with. Like his former captain, Hermes will try and be non-violent if possible, if only so as to not have to put effort in to fighting.
Influenced very much by his former Captain, Sake tries to live the relaxed life. While Sake didn’t start in the eighth division, he transferred out the first time he met Kyoraku. Saka respected how Kyoraku had an ease about him at all times, but found a deeper respect after spending time with the man. Kyoraku’s overall attitude is reflected in Sake as a tribute of sorts.
Sake is very analytical by nature, and takes his time to anticipate and observe features that others wouldn’t notice. Often times these take the form of Sake pointing out quirks and oddities about those around him, and has gotten him into trouble on occasion. However, Sake tries to disguise the observances outside of that, because otherwise he’s afraid he would be seen as less lazy and thus be assigned more work.
Sake's laid back approach to things applies even when he is applying himself. In combat, he will try to sway his opponent to a non-violent position in the midst of combat. Sake takes joy from relaxation, and hates it when he actually must apply himself to any task. Once he does, however, Sake is usually competent in all feats he attempts, if only because he thoroughly analyzes what to do before hand.
In an effort to maintain the laid back persona, Sake engages in relaxing activities whenever possible. He considers himself a connoisseur of napping, and can fall asleep virtually anywhere. It has gotten to the point to where he has convinced several of his squad mates that he is narcoleptic, in an effort to avoid as much work as possible.
Since his promotion to Captain, Sake has needed to shape up a little. Not only is he now responsible for commanding the Counter Intelligence information, he has to help advise the members in his division.

History/Background:
Sake lived a rather simple life as a child. Born into the 37th district of the Rukongai, the Saka household was rather plain and normal. Sake was the only child of his two model citizen parents. Sake mother was a homemaker, and thus was always there for her son when need be, while his father worked as a mid level merchant in the Rukongai.Skill Level: Kidou: Intermediate
It was this normalcy that- ironically- instilled a sense of wanting to be extraordinary in Sake at a young age. While he enjoyed his simple and easy life, the child sought to be something more.
Setting his first life goal, Sake decided he wanted to be a great thinker. Eventually, Sake grades began to slip, but not without reason.
It wasn’t because Sake wasn’t intelligent; rather, the child simply had a different dream now, and didn’t want to apply effort to a goal that no longer mattered. Instead, he now had a new dream that he wanted to accomplish. After reading about their various accomplishments in his books, Sake wanted to become a Shinigami.
-“The Academy and the Eleventh Squad”-
Sake was accepted into the Academy, where he performed quite well. His mind set to mastering the requirements to become a Shinigami, Sake was ranked 6th in his graduating class overall. As such, Sake was allowed the chance to decide where he would like to begin as his first squad. The intrepid young Shinigami sought a place in the 11th squad, as he believed that the combat specialists could help him to become the best he could be.
Starting out in the low end of the squadron proved to be a mistake for Sake, as the higher seats in the eleventh squad had no intention of letting him become accustomed to his new life. Sake remembers his time in the division as a hell of chores and no respect, but is still thankful for his time in the division.
It was in the 11th division that Sake first learned how to unleash his shikai. This caused some sceptism as his shikai was not combat based. They helped him by telling that he should never release his shikai. Despite their help, however, Sake knew he needed to get out. Sake transferred to the 12th division for a while, using his intellect to rise in the ranks with research. For a time, the science division allowed Sake to fulfill his new goal; succeed with his mind, rather than go through the daily physical exhaustion of the eleventh squad.
-“Encounter with Kyoraku”-
During his time in the science division, Sake was sent on various odd jobs to gather information for his captain. And it was on one of these information gatherings that Sake ran into Shunsui Kyoraku. Hermes idolized Kyoraku’s mannerisms and general attitude, and had a great respect for the man.
Sake set his latest goal to serving under Kyoraku, and he didn’t have to wait long for the opportunity to arise.
For the more time Sake spent under Kyoraku, the more like his captain Sake got in terms of attitude. Sake once had a love of fighting, instilled in him while he was still in the eleventh division. But his time in the twelfth dulled that, and under Kyoraku’s influence, fighting became more of a hassle for Sake. When it was needed, however, Sake displayed to Kyoraku that he was still a very adept fighter, and rose through the ranks under his captain’s guidance. Sake has trained with his Captain personally several times, both in order to strengthen Sake himself, but so that his stronger subordinates would allow Kyoraku to rest instead of joining fights personally. From this training, Sake has become adept at using Shunpo to add more strategy to his fighting style, as well as to build more momentum for his Fightng style. Its is during this time that he found his bankai.
When the captain of the 10th squad was killed by an arrancar. Kyoraku reccomended Sake take his place. This is how he got his place as the 10th squad captain. Has stayed there since.
